Periodontics involve the field of dentistry that diagnoses and treats many soft tissue-related conditions. At Total Implants & Periodontics, we are able to handle all types of periodontal-related treatments as well as place dental implants. Why are Periodontics needed?
You may be required to see a periodontist if you have gum disease, need to have a soft tissue or bone grafting or if you need to have dental implants placed. We offer many different options to help treat you and help maintain a clean, healthy mouth. You can reach out to us yourself if you know what type of work is needed or you might have been referred to us by another office. We are equipped to handle the majority of our patients’ needs, allowing you to come in and have all of the work done that is needed.
Dr. Patel does excellent work, and cares for his patients’ overall health. I was impressed by his new office, and the way in which his staff treats patients as well.

Each patient will require different treatment. Because of this, a consultation with Dr. Patel is necessary before we’re able to begin the work that is needed. Some of the most common periodontal-related procedures include:

What can you expect when having Periodontics done?
The first step to receiving periodontal treatment is to come in for an appointment. The appointment involves a consultation that can help us determine what work is needed. We will examine your teeth and gums, taking x-rays and other images as needed. We will then create a personalized treatment plan that involves the work necessary to correct the condition that you have. You will then be scheduled to come in and have the work performed in our office.
