What Are Some Of The Most Common Periodontal Procedures

What are some of the most common Periodontal procedures?

Each patient will require different treatment. Because of this, a consultation with Dr. Patel is necessary before we’re able to begin the work that is needed. Some of the most common periodontal-related procedures include:

  • Scaling and root planing
  • Gum disease treatment and surgery
  • Extractions
  • Dental implants
  • Soft tissue and bone grafts
  • Treatment of inflamed or abscessed gums

What can you expect when having Periodontics done?

The first step to receiving periodontal treatment is to come in for an appointment. The appointment involves a consultation that can help us determine what work is needed. We will examine your teeth and gums, taking x-rays and other images as needed. We will then create a personalized treatment plan that involves the work necessary to correct the condition that you have. You will then be scheduled to come in and have the work performed in our office.

If you are interested in visiting our office to have work done or would like to come in for a consultation, call us today and we’ll help in answering any of your questions.
